The name makes you think it must be a copy of barbecue nation with the same live barbecue on the table concept. However, Grillopolis was very different. With a grand entrance that looks like an entrance to a fort, it catches your eye without fail. A two floor seating, the floor on the top has a massive projector screen that plays videos of gigs performed by the likes of coldplay, bon jovi and all. There is a tiny little bar set-up in the middle of the restaurant and a private room for family gatherings.
The food menu is not very impressive when you choose to take the al`a carte option. With not more then 20 items on the list, the choices are very limited. The restaurant caters Mediterranean cuisine primarily but I had a slight chuckling moment when I found more then 80% items to be Italian. It is very funny how grill and Italian cuisine will work as a combination keeping in account the name of the restaurant.
Caesar salad at this place was delicious. It was very well prepared and I had a thorough satisfaction with the portion that was served. the other dish had a peculiar name but it was a stack of flavoured bread with spicy tangy gravy spread all over it. The sides were filled with bell pepper and potato salad. The portion was humongous and it can easily cater two people.
The restaurant was very fairly priced and a cost for meal without drinks should not be creating a dent in your wallet. The music and ambience of the place make it definitely worth a visit as it seems like a good bargain

It's a sad fact that most restaurants in india are "multi-cuisine" or serve the regular punjabi fare and thus any authenticity whatsoever is out of question.
