Zenzi - Bandra

You know you are at the right place when you have an unusual entrance and beautiful people around. Zenzi can be considered a restaurant and lounge that caters mainly to expats and celebs. With a seating opposite to a bar place, the floor downstairs serves good Italian, Chinese and Greek food. The options to choose from are very limited but there are some interesting combinations of ingredients. Cottage Cheese and Broccoli was my personal favourite. Sauteed broccoli is like delicacy when it has just right amount of spices sprinkled on it. Not to forget, the red Sula wine brought the flavour out of the food. Even the tofu and vegetables in shanghai sauce was quite piquant. Spicy and tangy it gave a stimulating taste.

We even faced a nightmare by ordering Zenzi's dream salad. The salad was a mere collection of some edible leaves and some scarce vegetables. This salad was highly over-priced and it was a complete waste of money. I would say that was the only put off as far as dinner is concerned.

I will take it an opportunity to describe the ambience of the place here. As its said, a place as bad as hell can be made heaven if there are right people there. Zenzi is far from being a hell as the music was just perfect, the ambience was with the right lights and the cutlery and service was just great. The point however is, the people at the place made it a dinner worth a memory. Beautiful and well-dressed people make it a pleasurable experience to the mind and eyes.

Zenzi is an expensive place to visit but it will not disappoint you with the portions and the people it caters.
